Between the Posts: A Live Update

May is a busy month!

We had a fabulous time at Camp Mustache Midwest over the past weekend. We had so many meaningful conversations about financial independence and living our best lives. As one of the attendees stated in the closing comments, “Our vessels are full.”

We even got out of our comfort zones and presented a session on the topic of pursuing FI and the impact to your relationships. Look for a blog post coming soon for a deeper dive on this discussion!

Since camp ended, we are catching up at home, learning how to make green smoothies after a great session from That Science Couple at camp, and preparing to go out of town again for my brother’s wedding. I’ve also been working on our itinerary for our trip to Alaska in late August/early September. We’ll have 4.5 days to explore on our own before we join a land tour of Denali and cruise out of Whittier with his family.

All good stuff!

As the blog approaches our 1-year anniversary (whoa!), I’m interested to hear from you, dear readers, on what topics you’d like to see more discussion on for future blog posts. So far I’ve mostly focused on travel planning and itineraries, as well as mindset and career topics. Do you want to hear more about financial independence and/or our FI journey? Or maybe more about the RV lifestyle.

Tell me in the comments below!

And, if you’ve been to Alaska and have suggestions for things to do in the Anchorage, Denali National Park, or Seward areas, I’d love to hear your feedback!

I’m hoping to get back to normal programming next week! In the meantime, check out these blog posts:

  1. I’d like to hear more about your FI journey, the RV lifestyle, and your experience as you continue to navigate into your new life in “retirement.” Your recent 6-month post was great; I’d love to read more periodic introspective posts like that one.
